About These Terms
These terms govern your use of the Papillon website and the purchase of jewellery, watches and services from our atelier. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
Written to be read. These terms describe how Papillon sells its pieces and services, and the promises we make to the clients we serve.

These terms govern your use of the Papillon website and the purchase of jewellery, watches and services from our atelier. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
An order becomes binding once acknowledged in writing by our atelier. We may, on rare occasion, decline or amend an order — for example where a piece is unavailable, mispriced, or where identity cannot be verified.
Prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Made-to-order and one-of-a-kind pieces may be quoted individually. Payment is required in full before an order enters our atelier.
Bespoke and made-to-order pieces are prepared to your specifications and, as such, are non-refundable once production has begun. Resizings and adjustments remain complimentary within the terms of our aftercare.
Risk in a piece passes to you upon signed delivery or collection. Delivery timeframes are indicative — approximately two to three weeks for secure nationwide delivery — and are confirmed at order acknowledgement.
Every Papillon piece carries our lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defect. Ordinary wear, accidental damage and unauthorised alteration are not covered. Our aftercare programme includes complimentary cleaning and inspection.
All designs, imagery and written content on this website are the property of Papillon and may not be reproduced without written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in respect of any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for matters that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute shall be resolved in the appropriate South African courts.
