Jewellery Repairs

A careful hand
for the pieces
that matter most.

We accept jewellery repairs on Papillon pieces and on treasured pieces from other houses. Every repair is worked at the same bench as our own commissions.

A written assessment is provided before any work begins. Nothing is polished, re-set or refinished without your explicit approval.

Chapter I
What We Restore

Repairs we
are asked to make.

A short list of the most common work — if the piece you are considering is not listed, please ask.

01
Prong Re-tipping & Re-setting

Worn prongs rebuilt, loose stones seated again, without altering the original design.

02
Chain & Clasp Repair

Broken links soldered invisibly, clasps rebuilt or replaced with matching hardware.

03
Shank Restoration

Thinned shanks rebuilt in the original metal, weighted for lifetime wear.

04
Rhodium & Refinishing

White gold re-plated, yellow gold polished, brushed finishes restored by hand.

05
Stone Replacement

Missing stones matched for cut, colour and clarity — sourced from our reserved stock.

06
Heirloom Restoration

Inherited pieces returned to daily wear, with the character of the original preserved.

Chapter II
The Process

Four steps,
fully insured.

  1. 01
    Assessment

Bring the piece to the boutique, or send it to us insured. We assess in your presence or by video.

  2. 02
    Written Quotation

A fixed price and timeline, before any tool touches the piece.

  3. 03
    Repair

Work is carried out at our bench. Photographs are shared on request.

  4. 04
    Return

Returned to the boutique or hand-delivered — cleaned, polished, and ready to wear.
